Size and type helps :)

I'm looking for LX 7 speed quickfire shifters and a LX rear mech; 28.6mm and top pull.

After reading the catalogues people have linked too, i've noticed that the frames are designed for 63mm travel forks. Will 80mm make a massive difference to the handling??

Well this build came together nice and quick, took it for a spin today. Handles nice and the fork does a surprisingly good job and soaking up those bumps.

It's not a looker but it is functional...

Not a bad looking steed.

Thanks, I'm liking it although it's not finished yet... Just picked up at front mech today to go 3x7 rather than the 1x7 as it is now and will eventually change the wheels.

The tyres are crap though, no confidence on the corners or traction on the mud going up hill, but they'll do for now
