Makes a lot of sense.

Judging by the pics mine is 2008/9.

Still cannot believe the frame will comfortably take a 140mm fork though :?
 
I must update this with new pictures as I now have a rohloff on this. Also double checked the receipt on my fork not a grande 29'er but a 445mm a to c 26 fork, dirty pictures to follow :)
 
New pics, one of tasks today is to cut the steerer down further. Then hit the hills! :)
