You guys in the UK definitely have us Americans beat in terms of vintage ride gatherings, but once per year we all hop in our cars or on planes and get out to the mountains above Bakersfield, CA for the Keyesville Classic Race. For the past 6 or so years, the race officials have hosted and promoted two vintage categories.
This past weekend 25 or so of us lined up on sweet old bikes and took to the awesome trails. I can honestly say this is one of the funnest weekends of the year and I look forward to going months in advance.
Glad we all could make the preride happen. Any extra time on that course is time well spent. Amazing weather that day.
