No idea how much it's worth, but it's a great looking bike.

E-stay bikes have a bit of a following, and if you do a search, you will find a whole thread about all sorts of e-stay bikes. One or two of the guys on there will be able to give you an idea of value.

Would love an approximate value of my 97 Lava Dome

Its 18" and stock apart from the Brakes (Shimano V Brakes), and Forks (Manitou Magnum), and comes with a Ringle bottle cage too. Comes with original Scratch n Sniff tyres.

The headset has split but apart from that it's in good condition for it's age.

Hardly done many miles at all and been in storage for the last 10 yrs.

The ringle cage would go for about £30 if not cracked!

Bike itself £200 or so if forks arent elastomers and perished. Looks amazing condition.

Bianchi 1985 MTB

Not sure of the model yet, but I have a chance to pick up a 1985 Bianchi MTB in very good condition. It has seatstay brakes and not the chainstay brake. Has the Bull moose handlebars. Anyone care to comment if it might be a worthy investment. Currently at $200.

Thanks
Thunderchild

Whoa! That is a nice bike. Suggest you post that in this 'Orange' thread with solicitations for INFO on your bike.

Don't post in that thread 'hey how much is my bike worth?'. You're a long term RB user so I suspect you know the rules. RB user 'Andy B' has a 10th anny Orange Clockwork so he may be the resident expert on that topic.
