We got mr. Cermenati from Ghisallo rims (Ghisallo rims were still used by pros in the nineties to race grueling races like the Roubaix - painted in black not to be recognized) to have some 29" rims built. After some tech talk we received this couple of hoops, still in their prototype phase, for testing. We reckon we can make them lighter, even if they aren't heavy as they are.

In their road declination, we've been rolling on them for years, and we're talking about a set with 18 spokes front and 24 rear. After 4 years the rear is gatting out of shape, a period, we reckon, that would wear an alu or carbon rim, too. Plus, they are incredibly comfortable.

So im guessing that they absorb a lot?

Are they stiff or flexy? Or nice in the middle.

Do they also build like normal wheels?

What price were they?

Im really quite intrigued by them. It really isnt something you see about. I like the fact that you can get versatile finishes for it (i.e any wood finishes?).
