built for 700c with no mudguard space, 23.5" is ideal - the more chrome the better, must be british, preferably northern

so...

ellis Briggs, woodrup, pennine, ephgrave, fothergill, old bj (jrj), Roberts, anything to do with the Taylor's etc etc

currently have an '82 king of Mercia but a chap in Spain wants to buy it so have to find a replacement!
 
I have a 64cm Fred Williams, campag drilled frame (beleived to be hand made, beautiful lugs). In a lovely glossy red. The bike is actually built at the moment, with 600 rear mech, campag xenon brakes, 8spd cassette, and an ITM mercian engraved stem. Interested? I can strip the frame down again if desired.
 
i need me a jack taylor! been looking for years, am not desperate to see the mercian to be honest but someone fancies it and i want to get the replacement sorted asap so i can start training for this years l'eroica
