This is my Raleigh Panasonic i've had this from brand new in 1985/86 i think !
again its never been restored but just looked after as it has looked after me.
It used to be 100% Campag' SR until i changed the wheels for more robust HP rims and changed the Campag brake levers for Dia-Compe aero levers in early 1990.

The frame is 531c.

Early last year i noticed the anodising was looking poor and toe strap rub was making my cranks look neglected so i decided to polish away the years.

Hi Dave,

One thing i regretted as i can't read into the future is the original Campag' brake levers !
Everyone had them and to be different i took off my levers and replaced them with Dia-Compe
aero levers at the time i thought they looked really cool and many friends followed suite.

To my horror i threw away my Campag' levers as i thought they were rubbish ! but now wish
i had them back on the bike but they are just way to expensive to buy nowadays

Must update the picture of my Raleigh ! Tyres are now tan wall Michelins. Saddle is a white Rolls. All outer brake cables are blue. Simplex retro levers fitted instead of Campag'

Cheers.
Ian.
