Thomson or Nukeproof finishing kit??

I'm heading towards Thomson guys, I have got NP on my AM bike and it suits it but as you say would it suit a thin framed steel bike???? Probably not?

Think I might be wrong on the weights too...

Sure their stuff came in pretty light - maybe it was just comparatively light for the big bike!

That's what I don't like about Thomson either, too chunky on nice steel :(

What about a lovely, lightweight Ritchey 4-axis? Beautiful XC kit

Isn't Ritchey a little more roadie type stuff, i just don't really get Ritchey stuff, It would suit a Touring type bike, or a mountain bike with road tyres on if you know what i mean.

Eek!
The Daddy of MTB? Only good for touring or roadie stuff? The higher end stuff is beautiful, lightweight XC jewelry, Thomson looks so crude in comparison.

Nuke Proof for me, Thomson is soooo common, always turns up on those ten'a'penny Orange Fives...

Joking aside (sorry Edd!) I like the NP stuff a lot, very solid, I think maybe a little lighter and much better looking in my eyes. I find Thomson too 'blocky', although on a modern frame I guess that's less apparent. Bloody good stuff though, no argument over that! ;)

Cheeky!

Went off NP when giant-one got a seat post and claimed it was as good as a Thomson. Two rides later it looked worse then my 4 year old Thomson. Case closed for me ;)
