My 'ladies' bikes:

1986ish Ritchey Ascent, built up with mostly 87/88 XT components.

Late 90's (?) Cannondale M400 w/some random nice parts-I keep telling her she needs a shorter stem but she really loves the bike the way it is.

Here is my wifes Muddy Fox, she did help and advise where and what she wanted, and was very pleased with the outcome, she likes it because its not too heavy and finds it really easy to ride. Best of all the bike in its original state cost a whole £12.50!!!!!!! It was still built on a budget and came in well below the £100 mark, in my eyes a bargain ride ;)
