what front derailler for gt lts

my mate is building an lts
i have given him a front derailler already but he s just told me over the phone that it doesnt fit right an doesnt clear the chain /topchain ring

so what derailler does fit does anyone have a pic

You need a big, low clamp, bottom pull mech like this, http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... highlight= if no-one else has a piccy i'll post one up in the morning (not near the bike at the mo)

thanks for the photos
i cant seem to find one on crc
they are listed as top swing or convential
(does convential mean bottom pull?)
all the shimano items dont seem low enough sram do one but it wont work with shimano shifters

I just had a looksie on CRC, you want a 'top swing' mech but I see they only have 9 & 10 speed one's so if you're after an 8sp (slightly wider cage) you'll probably be best off putting a wanted ad on here
