I'm not too knowledgeable about these but I want rid of my my modern road bike to replace with a 2000-onwards Klein. That way it'll look good next to the Klein MTB. I'll want to modernise it components-wise so figured bare frameset would be best. I assume the modern ones have standard 'aheadsets'?
