Ok, this is more or less where I'm at. Just imagine silver pedals attached and a rear wheel on the dining room table

Desperately seeking a polished Azonic handle bar that has a standard clamp size and isn't in Germany for silly money.

Nope. Didn't see the point if I haven't got a handlebar or front wheel put together yet.

The bottom bracket area isn't looking too healthy so I want to get it rolling before I buy anything else.

Sweet, almost there

Have a look on Winstanely bikes, I had to pester the shit out of them but they put some crappy pics up finally of the Azonic bars they have, I'm sure there was a polished one in there. They are 2001-2 so I'm sure they are skinny.

I want some too but I'm not actually sure they are polished, rather some kind of chrome paint thing?

Then I started to read about 'pro bend', look at different widths and heights and TBH lost interest so I haven't bought yet

Had a look at Winstanleys, There ARE polished bars there, but no stem clamp sizes listed. Sent them an email asking. Cheers for the heads up

This week I have mostly been playing with wheels.

Bought rims and hubs...
Bought a SECOND wheelset as I couldn't be bothered to pay someone to build the first set.
Axle swap, short axle onto the second wheelset.
NOS IRC tyres.
Red Shimano decals ~ Alá Steve Peat.

Crappy steel handlebar is just to protect the brake lever.

Oh and I managed to get my digi camera working again! Lets see how long it lasts this time! :roll:

dont know if you have noticed but every time you take a pic of your bike some one edits it and puts a pic of a brick where your saddle should be. weird.

I thought it was daft to start with but grew to like it. It fits with the bike aswell. Back in the 90's big seats were in (albeit briefly) because you were supposed to be able to slide back and forth on them to shift weight. Tioga also made a big one for the ATX 1. It was black and white.
I think AC still make the seat clamp. It's on their website anyway.
The wheels aren't mint, but very good. Just need a bit of a clean.
As for the original set, the hubs i'm putting to use on other builds, but the rims are for sale in another thread. I also have more hope hubs, but they're 36h and the rims are 32.
