88 Trekker XT

Yes thats the dogs rug that its on!! My carpet is much worse!

Its all going to have to be used stuff going back on except for this NOS U brake that I happened to have lying around!

The original used one off of this frame is still for sale...........

The 88 was Aquarius Blue.

Yes, I have an aquarius blue one as you know, but my XT one from BITD was definatly green, see the pics on the first page. Admitedly not quite the same green as this but close enough.

I coldnt match either colour exactly so I didnt bother, I went for waht the powdercoating company uses as standard colours from BS colour charts.

The results are great IMO, and £75 including stripping the old paint off, bargain!
 
Yes, I have seen that test, but the text on the left of the page refers to the overburys not the saracen.

Have you got the rest of it?


This trekker should be finished soon, got a donor bike turning up tomorrow!!

I have two on the way, not sure if either will be rebuilt or just donors! Will need to get some advice on one of them !


What do you think of Garry's decals? Pretty good IMO!
