Having returned my Canyon for a refund (story to follow, once funds are back in my account!) I'm now stuck between a choice of two 2011 bikes.
I had pretty much decided upon a Trek Top Fuel 9 (reduced from £2800 to £1800) and was planning a trip on Monday to collect when I stumble across a Santa Cruz Superlight (£1900 from £2900) in my LBS.
I've had a Top Fuel before and really liked it, but I like the look of the Santa Cruz (especially the simplicity of the frame design).
They're both very similar in spec, but I'd say the Trek just edges it.
Has anyone got any experiences to share on either of these, good and bad?
I asked Harry Hill for advice, but he just suggested a fight

No experience of either but I do like both and would find the choice difficult. If honest I think the Trek would edge it for the frame warranty really.

Looking forward to the Canyon story.

santa cruz for me. would of thought re sale value would be higher, bit more kudos, less maitenance.

on a side note, two canyons in two days with issues....
