Take one old M2 frame, hand painted by a previous owner then half stripped by the donor.
Strip and powdercoat then apply new decals with lacquer coat and et voila back to its original glory again
Only drawback it looked so nice built up, the wife claimed it

Thanks, I was pleased with it.

Had it stripped and powdercoated by a local firm in Cambridge who do a lot of small motorcycle parts.
The decals were originals from Specialized and after I applied them using some old pics for reference it went back to the same firm for a lacquer coat
Must say they were very good and masked all the threads and headset, also took care and returned it to me well bubble wrapped even though I collected it.

All in cost me £80 and fortunately the frame was a freebie or nearly, just the cost of a few pints

Nice. Who was the company?

Was that £80 for the powdercoat and Lacquer? Did that include stripping and preparing the frame?

Yes it was 80 quid for the lot, firm was Morley Bros which are near the Milton Country Park on the industrial estate.
