Beautiful bike!! I love the build, and I think m900 was a very good choice.

Personally I'd go with the CNC cable hangers, but they both look very nice. I'm surprised shimano made that other cable hanger.... the hangers I remember from them were the shoddy flat ones with the sticker on them that came on every department store bike. Interesting to see stuff from a time when canti's were serious stuff in mountain biking.

so i just have to wait. and wait. etc.

i can finally breath a sigh of relief.
the bottom bracket turned up today.
so on saturday i will be putting up a shed,
this will keep the wife happy, then i can finally
finish this bike. and fulfill a 20 + year ambition.
to ride one of the most iconic bikes of the early 90's.
good things come to those who wait. :D

just spent the last couple of hours fitting the bottom bracket & getting the gears to shift. i've got to say i'm blown away by this bike.

Well done, finally there. I hope to finish my Rascal this w/e but with the kids it is impossible to get sensible amounts of time. Just the cabling and chainset to go.

i thought i would post some pics of the bike being used.
went on a ride in the peaks on saturday with some other retro bikers.
had a great day, but coming down jacobs ladder was very harsh.
the weather was really very nice, a few light showers but very nice.

after the peaks ride, jacobs ladder took its toll on my brake pads & front tyre. so after replacing the tyre and i found some spare xtr brake blocks.
went for a ride into delamere and took a photo on the way home.
the bike is brilliant, i never get bored of this bike.
went into 12-50 bikes to get some brake blocks, and they were taking photo's of the klein.

well i'm sad to say this bike has sold.
i did'nt plan this but the pace did'nt sell and i got a very good offer for the klein. so it will now be going to a new owner.
soon to be replaced with a merlin titanium frame.
although i will get another dolomite attitude in the future.
