thanks jimi, might come back to you but would prefer to do the stick on clips if possible, can run the cable under the top tube that way

gazz , ave got a not too bad set of kinda cheapish roadbike wheels i'd swap for your mech there all-black bar one spoke and take 8/9/10 speed cassette , i can do pictures if your intrested ?
i've only got one of those clamp things btw but it's yours for nowt anyway
