Spoke lengths for Hope/Sunn combo please

Since you have the 250's you'll soon find out.

I'm keen to see now, just as long as the threads are flush or slightly below the nipples i'll be happy.........thanks to all it's no longer going to be a wild guess

I use Spoc Calc downloaded from Sheldon's brown site. Works if the internet fails.

Well when i got to the shop the spokes were 252 and way to long and the hub was a rear, no bit difference to front regards spoke length , i know 2mm can make a big difference on a wheel but i'm gonna try 248 before i try 250.

Interestingly 3 sites with the same info came up with 3 slightly different but close measurements.

What length nipples are you using, I know CRC supply 14mm nipples and you should really take 1mm of most calculator length (spocalc in excel will let you adjust for this from memory)

My last results above need a fraction little taken off them if you take Sun's websites ERD.

I did notice that the rear Hope pro 2 hub is the same as the front Pro2, just turned around.

Just notice, older Pro II have a different flange from centre. But that's normally negligible in the length.

Roger Musson (wheelpro) certainly says take 1mm off for 14mm DT nipples over standard 12mm nipples. (under help button on his site, Sapim stay the same. DT 16mm take 2mm off)

and mentions to write down if anything better could be used and keep the info safe.

Which is the thing, they get you close much closer than a guess
