GT Zaskar LE 1996

For a start you need to replace that hideous ....... back light, and get one of the new, supabright flashyflashy types, they really keep the cars off your tail. A bit of lube on the chain wouldn't go amiss and then..... ride it.

I have to say, it looks in a similar state to my 94 LE daily ride.

Love the Pace forks BTW. I couldn't afford them when I built mine, so I went for the Shocktech's instead. Similar look, cheaper price (and performance).

Cheers NeilM - I've had the forks from new. Prob not great performance compared to modern stuff, but the engineering and attention to detail still makes me smile.

Can't argue about the back light, I've just been out to the garage and it looks poor. TBH it needs the crud catcher and lights removing as they never look good on a bike.

flat bar, syncros post, maybe some M950 cranks for bling, smaller XC style SPD pedals, XT or XTR mechs and job done imho!

a little polish maybe, but leave the decals on. they look nice with some patina i think.
