You mentioned you had a spare x-5 (I think) RH shifter - it was ages ago, before christmas when i was complaining about the shifter on my Haro breaking. No worries, if you've still got it, etc...
 
getting excited now! Although my knees are worried about how rocky and slatey it apparently is. I will just have to not crash.
