Just booked a B&B in Coniston for Friday night, if anyone is meeting up there for a pint let me know!

Myself, big.eck, jimiHendrix and Radoslaw will be flying the Saltire for Macretro.
Rob - we're also booked into Coniston YHA (Far End), we have an executive 4 bed suite as befits visiting dignitaries from exotic climes.
What's the pub / supper situation like in Coniston? Concerned there might be a repeat of the Penrith tea-shop encounter from 'Withnail & I' (but with Scottish accents).
