Quick snap; the new swing arm is now fitted.
It was said on the thread somewhere that you can mix/match the frames, but id like to add that is not the case, it took much effort
as the mountings are a slightly different design. there is a notch that surrounds the main bearing on either side. however the pinch bolt on the older swingarm is fitted on the reverse side and the notch is lower down to accommodate it, so i spent a couple hours last night removing these notches with a file so that the swingarm can fit onto the later designed frame mountings.
