Offering beautifull Gazelle Champion Mondial AA-Super frame

Within the Champion Mondial line up the AA-Super was the short wheel base (SWB) frame. The AA-Super sat in the top of the line up and can be considered very rare.

To achieve the SWB the seattube has an indent to give room to the tire. Instead of conventional seatstays the AA-Super has a mono-/wishbone stay, what is a very unique feature on roadbikes of this era. The shifters are positioned on top the downtube with this frame, to achieve a more aerodynamic shape.

It makes a very agile handling bike. Goes round corners like nothing else.

Build it with 50th Anniversary, Super Record or something similar. On request I have Campagnolo Gazelle pantographed shifters available to go with the frame.

Features:
- full Reynolds 531C tubing
- Bocama Professional short point lugs
- Cinelli bottom bracket shell
- Campagnolo ends and dropouts
- seattube with indent
- wishbone stay
- internal routing
- metal Gazelle badge
- leaping Gazelle engravings on top crown and in seatclamp
- race number tab under toptube
- aqua-white pearl fade paint
- Seattube 54cm c-t
- Toptube 545mm
- Rear spacing 126mm

Condition:
Very good condition with very minimal marks of use. Good for concours-/showbike or rider.

Comes with:
- Stronglight needle bearing headset

Looking for 375 GBP shipped

I will do my utmost on packaging and everything will go well padded into a sturdy bike box.

Too small for me, but a wonderful frameset. I love the monostay in the rear!
