This project is slowly starting to take shape. I decided to forgo building the ARC and the Pro-Floater in favor of this lovely Ultimate so here goes.
The current plan for the build goes a little something like this
1992 Ultimate frame & Accutrax fork
NOS Chris King no-logo grip nut headset
Silver Atac stem
Silver Hyperlite bar
Shimano UN-70/71 BB
Cook Bros CBR cranks w/ SR chainrings
Shimano XT thumbies
Shimano XT 2-finger brake levers
Shimano XT short cage rear derailleur
Shimano XT front derailleur
Currently has XT hubs on campy rims
Not sure on yet:
I have some nice silver Ringle hubs and may build them up on some M231 rims
I also have a couple sets of Bullseye cranks that could work here
I have some Bullseye wheels as well, but I think I prefer the Ringle or XT
For brakes I have some silver Graftons or M734 XT to match the rest
Right now the Syncros post is all I have, but I may look around for a silver Ringle post to match
Ringle QRs are the plan, but I only have 3DV and need silver I think
So, that's it... wheels have to be sorted next.
