Cheers FC :)

Gives me some idea what to ask...

Yeah i'm aware that once it is fitted it no longer NOS; it was just an indicator that the parts mentioned were "as new" (less than 20 hours ride time??), and not seen 20 years worth of use.

Form a disorderly queue pls......

Since buying a road bike my Uzzi SL has hung in the garage for 6 months. So if I am not riding it I hope someone else may enjoy it. I am after an idea of value either splitting or selling whole. It is a bit of a mix n match with components. I have owned the frame since new and replaced components as required.

1998 INTENSE Uzzi SL - medium - Anodised Black frame and polished rear. Fox Vanilla R shock. It has had a dent in the down tube just in front of BB for the last 8 years thanks to a stone at guisborough - shown in last picture.
XT rapidfire shifters.
Controltech seat post and stem.
X-lite X-country bars.

I rebuilt beginning last year adding:-
2004? Manitou Black travel adjust 90-120 forks.
FSA big fat pig headset.
Shimano M525 disc brakes.
Hope front hub + Mavic 717 rim
XT rear hub + DT Swiss X455 rim
with XT mechs and XT crankset.

gt avalanche 1996 in good condition mostly lx with an xt rear. thinking of selling it so any ideas of value? im thinking £250

Not sure whether I should sell my GT STS 1000DS or not!
The shock has been unbolted while the stays are polished.
What's it worth?!

GT Karakoram frame evaluation

Thinking about selling my GT Karakoram steel frame. I like it but it is way too big for me. It has original paint, minor scretches but no dents. Not sure which year, mid-nineties I guess.

I'm not an expert so how much would be fair to ask?

That one's definitely a splitter as it's so randomly mis-matched (no offence intended - I don't mind a mix up personally but it won't help it reach it's potential value ;) ), forks may be the most valuable, Ritchey stuff not bad either.

You should be able to get individual prices off the sale section here and ebay pretty easily.

I want to replace the frame only, I will put the other parts on a smaller one. What can I ask for the frame only?

1997 Marin Rift Zone (almost as new!) moved form Retro MTB C

Hi, Sorry this post keeps appearing all over the place, not sure if its me or my PC thats rubbish!
I have a 1997 black Marin Rift Zone with a couple of hundred miles on it, if that. I have owned it from new, but started working overseas just after I got the bike, so it has been sat under a cover in the garage ever since. It has no dings or scrapes, etc. that I can see, pretty much as new.
I think it is a 15.5” frame and is totally original except for having a shorter stem(?) that holds the handlebars - but I still have the original also.
The full spec is at :http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1997&Brand=Marin&Model=Rift+Zone&Type=bike
It has all the original component documentation, bill of sale and 1997 colour Marin brochure.
I want to get back into biking, but as I’m getting on a bit, will probably go for a cross over type bike.
Can anyone advise what the bike is worth so I can advertise it for a fair price?
Cheers
Davetronic

Thats a stunner!.
Though early marin bouncers aren't particularly valuble.
I was on the hunt last year and saw a few reach £200 plus but not by much.
Typical my bloody size too and right after I'd decided no bikes
