I've recently taken delivery of some Titec H bars.
Due to there shape my brake hoses are miles to short, so i need to fit new hoses not a problem.
But even with the longer hoses the hose routing is going to be rubbish.
So is there a way of attaching a hose to a Shimano master cylinder using a 90 degree connector instead of a straight one a'la Hope brakes?

No problem whatsoever, here is Magura Marta front calliper connected using Shimano right angle banjo connector (M6 thread)

yep, I know the calliper it is fitted updide down (it needs to be removed to bleed) but is only modern calliper I have found that can fit inside the seat and chain stays. :?

hmmm, I'm not so sure. look how long the lever is from the calliper to the chain stay - that is putting quite a bit of torque into the chainstay contributing to early failure - there have been occurences of chain stay failure with this type of frame design.
