1992 kona lava dome

Hi there

I picked this 1992 Kona Lava Dome up from my lbs yesterday

The bike is in great condition for its age

Took it upto haldon today

Had a great feeling when i was catching the full sussers on the downhills and then leaving them on the climbs

Lovely! This is the bike that got me into mountain biking. My friend bought one back in 1991 from Boddens in Dundee and I thought it was just incredible. I wasn't quite so well off, so I bought a 1990 Fire Mountain which was on sale (light blue with white splatter). Still the bikes that I compare everything else to.

Superb! Just picked up a 92 Lava Dome myself and yours has inspired me to find some A&B Drives for it. The big tyres look the tits on them and mines running 1.9 Smokes at the mo.

Red route was great and drained well after saturdays heavy rain
