I have a Kore carbon seatpost in a matt effect and would like it to be shiny / laquered to match my bars and stem (sad I know  ). Can you apply rattlecan laquer or is there a problem with solvents etc ? Any other method perhaps to "polish" it ?

I don't see why you can't just rattle can it? Others will know better than me

i would try to polish it with some t cut in an inconspicuous are first

its fine to clear coat carbon but make sure you rub it down with 800 wet and dry to give the lacquer a key
