sounds good, interested if it's a weekend day. would prefer the longer distance, seems a shame to drive all that way for a couple of hours in the saddle. i'm sure with a bit of planning there could be a short cut option
 
We made 15 miles last 4 and a half hours last sunday, I don't think the road is going to be a vast improvement :)
 
Don't worry TK - I've done it before and apart from the early climb up to the col between Glens Lochay and Lyon - the terrain is gently undulating. Approx same distance as Arran loop.

Might build a Flying Scot for this :D otherwise it'll be the trusty Bianchi :)
 
Come on ya mincer last year I was doin recreational rides to CTC rendezvous doin 60 miles in 4 hours easy and that was hilly & windy Fife Shire :LOL:

I can't seem to keep the speed up on the roadie, I think I keep going too fast at the start and tiring quickly and end up doing 10-12 mph need to find my pace, or maybe I have and it is 10-12 mph :shock:
