Just had a quick google on the Dynatech 500

Class

They say the frame doesn't like being spread at the rear for a wider wheel. I apologise for the question as I am a 70's rider but are the correct wheels a standard size ?

I have never had a problem with a dynatech frame - not to say there was never a problem but I have spread the back end on 3 without any issues.
If you are going to rebuild in period them a 130mm rear will slot straight in but a modern rear is 135 so its only 5mm or 2.5 each side.

standard road is currently 130, MTB is 135

The Wheels for sale in this post at 126 mm will be too narrow then ?

126 shold be perfect with no springing of the frame
