The strutt fork is better to look at than ride, the rideing characteristics are much improved with either a 410 TB P2 or Rockstar, both actually trump a 395 Logic. Looks very stallionesque with a Rockstar fitted.....rides like a tamed one.

Interested in these comments, ridden (albeit fairly briefly) bikes with the strutt fork and thought they were nice - fairly harsh compared to TB P2 or a rockstar but quite liked that if it fits the frame 'feel'. Is that why you don't like it? Not disagreeing with you just interested in what it is you didn't / don't like.

The strutt's a straight line Super, and interrupts (sp?) the lovely sensation when the frame almost flexs back on it's self and kicks again ('well knky'). The Ritchey is ten-fold better again but wont trump the aforementioned duo....plus i like to stand up and smash-it at some point before the out and any (every) increment of height on the front appears to suit me fine and dandelion  . 'Ya Get Me'.

This has took what seems like an age to finish but the final bits arrived yesterday :D

I have decided to split my m2 to fund a modern steel build so took advantage of the what were nos m952 shifters and the nos m952 crank as planned. I also decided that the use race stem was too chunky for the frame so fitted a kcnc wing effort and much prefer it's elegance.

Took it for a quick spin and first impressions are amazing..

Weight is 20lb 12oz

Cheers guys :D

I plan on changing the remaining steel bolts to ti and a lighter seat clamp..

Then I reckon if I was to fit my set of rocket rons it would be close to sub 20lb.

lighter tyres & tubes can make a big difference

200g (a pair) loss in tubes easily from normal tubes to lightweight ones

Agreed in that it's already running schwalbe tubes at 95g and the tyres weigh in at 430g each. The rocket ron 2.1 I have are 403g
