The other "HOW MUCH IS MY xyz WORTH" thread for 98

Are they?

I guess at around 250 ish then would be more like it. I see theyre different but didnt know theyre 'different'. ooooo

i would say £200.00 at the most.
though an immaculate set sold recently and were 2005 for £150.00.
All depends on if somebody wants them at the time you sell them.

I got a set of mint 2002 for £50.00 last year and a mint set of 2003 with a specific hope m4 brake for £120.00.

Weight put's a lot of people off , but i don't care as my bike weight 60lb.

Also a good investment for these would be the specific direct mount stem.
I got a set of 2003 monsters in 2010 with the original seals in and they were still perefect.

These are bomb proof forks and will out last any component and a nulcear
apocalypse :D

Though i do prefer the retro monsters more

USE Titanium seatpost

Hi all

First post (so hope this is in right place) mate off the BMX forum I usually go on referred me here

I have a USE titanium seatpost from 91/92 which I was thinking of cutting down and using on a BMX project. Before it goes to the grinder thought it might be a good idea if I checked how valuable it might be first

It's in good nick apart from a missing sticker and the alloy bolts that hold the thing together have faded over the years (although saw these on CRC so could be replaced with new easily enough) the clamp bit is ano'd purple

can put up some pics/dimensions etc later but any advice gratefully received

cheers
