Hello to all the flatlanders!

The Growlers are getting together for another skinny tyred road ride taking in the best of Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire's finest B roads.

Ideal winter warmer with plenty of stops for tea and cake.

Any bike will do as long as its ready for the thrum of tarmac.

Route is here: http://g.co/maps/ueeur

Start point is Alconbury, Cambs, just off the A1/ A14 interchange

Just need a date suggestion, this weekend is clear, next weekend is clear but it being the deepest depths of winter, the weather could be fun!

Sunday 29th January anyone?

29th is good for me, it will give me more time to get out on a bike to stretch my legs before the event.

But if it gets too cold I'm staying in the pub at Ashton at their pie and beer festival!

Bike packed in car, drug laced rocket fuel loaded into water bottles, warmest clothes dug out. Just need a constant tailwind and a gentle downhill gradient for the whole ride. Go easy on me tomorrow, I am seriously fat and unfit.
