What was the fork TT? rigid or sus?
Rigid would point towards the headset being loose[not enough preload]
Sus would point towards the same HS issue or possible worn bushings
Fingers X'd its just a headset issue :?
Though i would say theres usually a bit of play in the brakes :? so could very well be nowt to worry about.
