Out of interest what year is it?
not to jump the thread... But Palmer raced that frame/fork setup in the 1999 season. He was so close to winning the worlds in Åre (sweeden) but crashed 10m to the finish line... This is some bike! Love it.

What a beaut. Upside down forks, 46t single dh chainring, absolutely great, but I can't do it justice here on the flat :( . Free bump

Let's go ! (with many regrets)

-FSR S-work downhill frame (team Specialized)
-Manitou x-vert carbon (team Specialized)
-MRD integrated stem (team Specialized)
-Ritchey seatpost (team Specialized)
-Hayes brakes

Used in downhill competition race

-Specialized prolong revolution saddle
-MRD ultraspeed chainguide
-Shifter XTR
-Shimano XTR crank arms
-XTR bottom bracket
-Shimano 46t chainring
-Shimano XTR rear mech
-Chris King headset
-Answer protaper handlebar
-Odi grips
-Mavic deemax wheelset (first generation)
-Michelin comp 24 (26"x2.4)
and
-Cully signature pedals !

All parts above were found and purchased NOS.

The frame has some traces of battle! I kept the state to meet its past ...

For my use I change the spring, black is stronger , and better to my light use ...

The bike is period correct , and , I woul add : Shaun Palmer correct !!!
