well it started life as a nice bike..but like us all age took its toll..
had this bike forever :)
well since it came out.. swapped my old proflex 953 for it..
now it is in the middle of a change, new orange and white paint,refurbed pace rc35's, still got my original flite on it..
found a nice(purple)use post and bars ;)
got a old lx chainset sprayed black,xt front and rear mech...
now do i use the suntour shifters or the gripshift or the nice silver deore thumbies..???
still trying to find some bits like nice cantis..as got a set of maguras.
well when i get my photobucket sorted i'll post pics..

Great stuff so far :) , looking forward to the frame pics.

Good move swapping the Maguras, they work great but Canti's look nicer and can work well if set up properly.

think orange and white will clash, big style.!!!
ordered stickers yesterday, just dont know if i fancy sprayed or powercoat on the frame??

What about Grey instead of white ?, was a proper colour option on Oranges BITD, was rare though as orange/white was more popular.

Going to be re-doing my orange/white Clockwork grey soon.

Grey with original style decals and the Purple bits would be quite striking.

Paint is good as long as it's a tough enamel finish (similar to the original stuff) car type paint chips realy easily, probably easier to find a good powdercoater these days than a good frame re-finisher, though there is Argos Cycles etc.

that will work a treat. rc35's will be nice and hidden..
and all purple will shine through...

nice one.just changed my mind.. just gotta find a powdercoater now.. as it will take more abuse. ;)

nice full set of dia compe..
just had frame stripped so now a waiting game as got to pick it up and drop it at the p,coater..
ooh and found another set of wheels.. should be ok for some abuse.

with some new q,releases.
and got some normal pedals(everyday use) and some spuds for weekend fun :D
