Big thanks to vern for guiding us round and the gin and cake ;)

10 riders, good crack, excellent weather and top bikes.......apologies for the modern, and all those people stone chipped and covered in cack that followed me

A nice January ride, just what was ordered :)
Don't even need to clean the bike.

A few pics to get you going.
More later.

Fantastic ride, great company and great views all helped by the weather being so kind to us :D

Big thanks to Vern for organising and to Chris for the spare tube after my puncture, hope that idiot in the Discovery gets in touch with you too mate.

Pics to follow later if they turn out ok, off for some long overdue tea now ;)

Looks like you had a brilliant day
I was very tempted but it clashed with some volunteer work
I am dead jealous though :D
When are you guys doing the new Viking way ?

It would have been good to see you, as for the Viking Way why don't you and AndyB start a thread and lets see what interest we get, keep an eye on our calendar though we have a pretty hectic year :)

RAVENSCAR RAILWAY

No better way to de-seize the body after the festive period with a smooth and scenic ride on the east coast. although cold it was tolerable in motion and the views to the north sea made it all worth while and, the company, bikes, chippy food. a great day out

in certain sections you can get a real gallop on.

in others you can get a real flat tyre ;)

can happen to anyone but nobody gets left to sort it on their own

i feel better for getting out. thanks kaya and any other organisers plus all attendees. see you again!

Looks like you had a great day. Riding a full susser on a disused railway track may count as overkill, until you consider Saltyman's fat bike of course.

Good stuff!
