UN52 bottom bracket fitted and it's now ride-able again. Rode 20 miles on it today and got a few little bits to tweak:
* KORE temporary stem is wrong for the bike, need a more slender replacement.
* Thought chainrings were looking a little worn, and I was right! Spent all 20 miles today in the BIG RING. Middle ring had had it. But, picked up a new replacement Kooka item on ebay for £10 delivered. Job done
Hopefully give it a clean tomorrow and get some decent pics up.
Stem swopped for something a little shorter and with less rise and a set of Club Roost riser bars fitted. This gives a bit more width so should lessen the twitchy feel that the previous narrow bar gave.
Ordered a set of Onza grips off eBay along with a new 32t middle ring (a Kooka for £10).
Hoping to get along to the National ride in Feb at Grisedale and come on this Kona
