Yes, I enjoyed last night. Some great mud.

Regarding dates for The Long Mynd as discussed in the pub:
March 17/18 was favourite, however the following weekend is the second of the national rides at Thetford. Is this likely to be an issue?

Note of interest to all to much fettle makes your pedal fall off..

Ok Mr Phil I raise my hat to your observation regarding Mr Matts pedal but surely are you advocating a life without fettling ?
For the record I believe it is better to have fettled and lost than have never fettled at all ........... Discuss....
 
true true I have been thinking about my previous post and may with draw my statement, Mats pedal falling off was kama kicking his ass.
 
I thought 'good Karma', falling off in the warm comfort of mechanical expertise and equipment, and justified by the stirling work and support given by His Matness who can never be accused of basking in reflected glory.
