15 st back pressure on the cranks are brake enough, very rarely touch the front brake (Yes I have put a 'little' weight on over christmas!)

But then I am biased ! Reminds me of my old Ventoux 501 which I should never have sold... :roll:

I think the downtube decal changed in 87-88 model year ! So mid 80's would be a safe bet !

Is it Columbus tubed...?
