Found this today. I've acquired a set of Croce D'aune brakes recently and never seen a Croce D'aune crankset to match it. Could it possibly be quite rare?

I believe that's an Athena chainset in the listing...
Croce d'Aune is indeed quite rare because it was produced for only a couple of years (3 of 4 I believe)

Yes the top link is Athena. CDA is not all that rare I've had a few pass through my hands. The Chorus group inherited the CDA chainset when CDA was discontinued. Quite similar to Athena so tread carefully....

Ah ok, so my search for a Croce D'Aune continues. Whats the difference between the one shown in the ebay link and a CDA?

Cheers

It's difficult to explain and even to tell sometimes. The Athena slopes away differently from the centre cap. The CDA also came with self extracting bolts which are generally left in, Athena had caps with the shiled emblem on them
