i was cycling along at one point into the horizontal rain/sleet/hail
when i realised i was grinning like a loon ,at that point i started laughing

top day out lads loved every muddy minute

Glad yous all enjoyed yerselves.

Was thinking of coming too but the wind and pishing rain at half 9/ quarter to 10 put me right off. The thought of riding 3 miles there and 3 back in that was too much for me.
Mind you a discussion that involved jumping, Carol Vorderman and the new bint on Countdown might have made it worth it.

Hope tae feck it's no like this the morra night, it's the annual auld yins against the young ains rugby game where we normally get oor erses handed tae us. We'll be up tae oor knees in mud, blood and snotters going by the state the pitch gets in after a wee bit rain.

In the 10 or so years we've been playing it we've only won once (the first game) and about 3 years later gave them, essentially the 1st XV, an awfy fright by nearly doing it again.

Braw! Really glad I didn't stay in my pit this morning. How did I miss the Mariah Carey chat though?
