S prefix on the number dates the frame to 1965.

no decision on decals yet and headtube badge going on over weekend now i have found rivet gun .
i can confirm its 1965 as well , just started using it for non icy commutes at moment and apart from pedal falling off on first return journey and having to change crank arm all ok now and going well .
gearing ok as well on 27" wheels with a 52 front chain ring and 17 rear ideal for my fairly flat commute .
only other problem is seat post id as mo i am using foil shim to get it tight
