With great help from David Giessel I managed to swap out my corroding OEM fork and regularly failing bearings with a great new set-up.

Re:

Can you please help - I have the same bike and I now have the same corrosion issues on the fork. I want to locate David Giessel, but am having trouble. themacaddress.com seems no longer to be working.

Any pointers much appreciated.

Re:

I have a 96 quantum and want to change the horrible threaded headset it has, is this what the thread details?

Many thanks

It seems that I encountered the same problem as Rider926 on my quantum pro, the aeros fork died on me last week.
is there any way to get my hands on a conversion kit more than 10 years later?
does anybody know anybody that could help out? is mr Giessel still active?

I will buy your AEROS forks if you get rid of them for all your "conversions"

Yeah those "delaminated pieces of carbon" are really a shaite! I still want them Aeros forks in my collection. Lets say 100,00 Euros - cause they are only such "delaminated pieces of carbon" anyways.
