Nice bike - I love the GT road bikes of this era. Nice to see one in a normal size too, the ones I've seen recently are 60cm gates, which doesn't seem to suit the style of the frame.

Ok....after much persistence, I managed to get the bottom bracket out and swap it over for the correct square tapered one and 600 cranks....
Changed over the saddle to the tri-matic and changed over the wheelset to some Arayas with yellow trim tyres.....
Also changed the stem over to a Ritchey and changed the bartape to all black....
Will stick with the Ultegra 600 groupset on this one.....
