Mooching around eBay I found a nice looking set of Nokon cables and thought, they look good as they are made from carbon fibre.

But OMG they are pricey at over $230!   and it is just for the rear only.

So who's up for a set?

Check them out here; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nokon-CARBON- ... 9063247367

a cheaper alternative would be mini i-link , aluminium nodules. I am using it on 2 bikes without any problems.

somethihng to look out for in 2012 is optic gear outer - forget who makes it - but is it like regular gear coble outer but uses glass optical fibres instead of steel wire.

I think you're thinking of Cordz

I hate the nokon creak and don't understand how people can live with it.

I use Gore cables when I want the best - but am hoping to try Goodridge and MAYBE Cordz next year.
