planning on restoring this bike however im having problems looking for info's about this bike, and is it worth the time to restore thanks for the comments

It's hard to make out the makers name from your pics so it's not easy to figure out how good it is. However, the design of it and the components on it don't suggest high quality. Someone may say otherwise.

Better pictures would help.

Also, the forks look bent - quite badly - backwards so it'd need new forks for a start. It may be a trick of the camera angle but I don't think so. Please don't ride it in that state until they are replaced.
 
all I can say its Jan Janssen with a sparta on the top tube of the body (dont know what you call it)
 
jan jansen is an ex tour winner (i believe), and makes (or used to make) good road frames.

this frame looks like an entry level commuter whit his name on it.

i would change the fork and use it for what it was inteded, commuting, but wouldn't spend to much money on the bike.
