2005 Trimble - Completed - 15lb 4oz

Very very nice, thats weight weenism taken to the next level.

If you win the lottery and you want to get rid of the cranks for free, I will take them!

You could save another 525 grams with a Scott Scale 899 frame..

Thats lovely, great work.
I want to have a go with the Canondale Flash for weight weening if a frame ever comes up for sale at sensible money but this is very different.

That is an interesting mtb :D

The biggest future weight lose will be wheels. 'Innolite' 230 carbon rims, Tune hubs.

Can you use rim brakes on those? I thought they were disk only?

And to be fair, 148gr for the seatpost is pretty good!!

Beautiful, well done mate!

:D Thanks (to all)

That seat pin look so wrong in the picture. Now pointing the correct way.

The carbon weave is stunning in the flesh.

The good people on here have been a great help in building it to- mikee, gil_m, steve75, chris2lou and other views/ideas
:D

changed to foam grips and lost anther ounce today :D New stem on the way

Excellent build. I imagine a stiff breeze would blow it away :)

Are you using brake cables or changed them for gear cables? You could also save a gram (maybe) using heatshrink tubing for cable ends.
