C'mon Mark, you don't actually use your brakes in anger at Thetford, they're just for control......I was amazed how I could carry on regardless-ish for most of a lap with no rear brake after it digested itself....I reckon V-brakes would be fine!
edit: Afan or somesuch with proper big hills would obviously be a whole different ballgame.....I'm just saying for Flatland use, no worries.

Makes a big difference to the 28h race wheel usually up front.
