Its a RaceFace Taperlock (square taper) think others probably use them as well. Yep big bearings compared to the Ti-Glides and Suspensions

BITD for some strange reason I ran a red fatso and a silver ti-glide on my proflex 856, sold it to my mate who recently had it stolen from his garage in the Middlesbrough area, I too lust after a NOS set of those hubs, would look lovely on my 1997 P7. Must finish the R8 first though and the cro-mega (so many projects, so little money haha.
 
I had a set of these, but the version with the splined disc mount (way before Shimano's Centerlock). Unluckily the flanges broke between holes on both front and rear hub, but Hope replaced them no-questions-asked, even though I was maybe their third owner. What a great company! Got a pair of new XC's with a Ti casette and they still run perfectly! The Ti Glides looked better, though...
